Extraction refers to the more commonly known procedure of having one’s tooth or teeth pulled. Needing to have a tooth pulled can result from a variety of reasons, some of the most common being overcrowding of the mouth or infection. With overcrowding, one or more teeth may need to be pulled, often to prepare the patient for orthodontia. Infection occurs when decay within the tooth extends to its pulp to the point where the tooth can no longer be salvaged. At our surgical center, patients can expect this procedure to be carried out by our expert surgeons and under the care of our board-certified anesthesiologist. If you believe you or your child may require extraction, please contact us today for a consultation with one of our surgeons.
