About Us
Gallatin Valley Surgical Arts has grown into one of Montana's most respected surgical practices, known not only for clinical excellence but for the depth of care and connection offered to every patient. What began in 2004 as Dr. Brian R. Chisdak's vision to bring advanced oral and maxillofacial care to the Gallatin Valley has evolved into a thriving, multi-surgeon practice serving a broad region with compassion, precision, and integrity.
Over the years, Dr. Chisdak has assembled a team of exceptional providers, each bringing unique expertise and a shared commitment to excellence. Dr. Lance Lerner joined as a key member of the team early in the practice's growth. Dr. Clark O. Taylor came on board in 2019, followed by the addition of Dr. John W. Polley in 2024. Most recently, GVSA welcomed plastic surgeon, Dr. Brenda Hall.
Together, this collaborative group of board-certified surgeons, anesthesiologists, and registered nurses delivers a full spectrum of oral, facial, and cosmetic surgical care—always with the patient's comfort, safety, and goals at the center. The practice operates out of a state-licensed, AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center, demonstrating an ongoing dedication to safety, innovation, and excellence in surgical care.
As GVSA continues to grow, one thing remains unchanged: a belief in the transformative power of skilled, compassionate care. Every patient's story matters, and every experience is shaped by the same values that have guided the practice from the beginning—integrity, excellence, and a heartfelt commitment to helping patients look and feel their best.
